Why Attend The National Smart Grids Forum?

The Inaugural National Smart Grids Forum showcased a speaker faculty featuring 30+ senior level executives from Australia, Europe and the US. Attracting over 170 attendees the event stood out among industry as the most comprehensive event on Smart Grids in Australia.

Whilst the Smart Grids Smart City Pilot will lead the electricity industry towards establishing standards to overcome interoperability challenges in deploying smart grids, a number of questions still remain unanswered on how truly to distribute intelligence throughout the electricity network.

The National Smart Grids Forum will present local and International Case Studies on the outcomes of deployed projects, uptake and product innovation to highlight key learnings and the changing competitive dynamics in the marketplace.

  • Optimising the convergence of wireless communication and smart grids while protecting privacy
  • Re-engineering power production, operational efficiency, service reliability and integration of renewable technologies
  • Integrating electric vehicles, energy storage and distributed generation

With no question that the industry is facing the biggest change in over 100 years, it is now time to bring all key stakeholders together to examine every facet of this transformation and takes a good look at the business model of the future in terms of asset management, process management and above all people management.
